San Sebastian Cheesecake has become very popular recently among the pastries and coffee shops in Turkey. Even though it is not my favourite dessert, I can't resist it when it's well made. One of the best I have ever tried in Istanbul so far has been in Rafine Espresso Bar (they call it Basque Cheesecake on the menu). I haven't tried all the pastries on the menu, I guess, they are all delicious, but my favourite is obvious:)
Of course, Basque Cheesecake is not the only reason to visit Rafine, they also offer good quality coffee. If you would like to have your coffee at home, you can also buy from their variety of coffee beans.
Rafine Espresso Bar is a cosy and chill spot to enjoy your coffee and dessert but is mostly crowded during weekends. Also, beware that if you would like to work with your laptop, you have to pay an extra charge.
