WGE (Warszawska Gielda Elektroniczna; the Warsaw Electronic Market) is known to everyone. If you started your computer adventure in the 1990s, most hardware and software would have come from WGE. It was maybe not the cheapest, but it was definitely the most convenient place to buy computers and computer stuff in Warsaw.
Imagine how surprised I was to visit this place about 20 years later and discover that not only the market still exists but also there is a possibility to play old-school video games exactly where the adventure started. Old computers, Nintendo, Mario Bros - you name it. You can make it a reality again in this wonderful passage next to the Main Statistics Office (GUS).
A day in the "museum" will cost you 30 PLN (about 7 euro). Here you will find NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Commodore 64, Sega Master System, Atari 2600, Atari 65XE and many more - about 25 games and computers. You may come to play Donkey Kong or Mario Kart 64 with friends, and there is also a possibility to organise parties and events.
